Card Code Verification
What is a CCV or CVV2?
CCV/CVV2 is an authentication scheme established by credit card companies to help reduce fraud during Internet transactions. We require a card holder to enter the CCV/CVV2 number in at transaction time to verify the card is on-hand.
Visa & MasterCard- it's the number printed in the signature area, on the back of your credit card. (the last 3 digits, after the credit card number)
American Express- it's the number printed on the front of your card. (the last 4 digits)
